Hammerson adds agent to The Rock

Hammerson has appointed independent surveyors Nolan Redshaw as joint agent for £350m The Rock development due to open in Bury this summer.

The Rock comprises a 506,000 sq ft of retail and leisure accommodation. The retail offering is anchored by Debenhams and Marks & Spencer alongside a range of additional flagship stores such as Next, River Island, H&M, Primark and Cult clothing. In addition there is a ten-screen Vue multiplex cinema, a 24-lane bowling centre and eight new restaurants.

Steve Manifold, from Nolan Redshaw, said: "To be involved in The Rock scheme is fantastic. Not only is The Rock a great destination for high street brands it is also a fabulous opportunity for local and regional retailers to relocate alongside big names. The mix of tenants along with the leisure element will give a real buzz to Bury when the scheme opens in July."

Nolan Redshaw will work alongside existing agents CB Richard Ellis and GCW.
