Haime moves to Matthews & Goodman

Consultancy Matthews & Goodman has appointed Lynn Haime to lead its Liverpool office and work with the firm’s specialist teams.

Haime, an experienced asset manager, has spent the last eight years with Peel Media, where she was involved in marketing, letting and managing the 500,000 sq ft mixed-use MediaCityUK estate.

Prior to that she worked for Urban Splash for more than 10-years, and spent time with DTZ and Edwards & Co.

M&G said that Haime’s experience with some of the biggest business space brands in the country and her extensive network of contacts were reasons for her landing the role.

The firm said that her deep knowledge of the letting process and all aspects of managing properties and portfolios made her an ideal candidate to manage and guide a multi-disciplined office whose clients include investors, local authorities, owners and occupiers of properties.

Haime said: “Joining a long-established firm with an enviable local reputation was a great attraction to me, but what really excited me was the transition from an in-house environment to a consultancy, where you are only as good as your last job.

“Helping the team prosper in what are some of the toughest trading conditions experienced in recent years will certainly be challenge but with the exciting developments currently underway and planned for both Liverpool and the North West, I’m looking forward to rising to that challenge. Having met the firm’s senior management team, I know they have a business culture and philosophy I share and I’m looking forward to working with them.”

James Routledge, a member of the company’s central management team and head of the national investment team, said “We were looking for a person with that rare combination of deep market knowledge, a clear vision for the team she will manage and compelling leadership qualities.

“In Lynn, we have found someone who has all those qualities – in abundance. We really look forward to working with her and supporting her vision for our presence in Liverpool.”
