DTZ appointed to sell council office

The real estate advisor has been instructed by Knowsley Council to sell the freehold of its education office in Huyton, Liverpool.
The four-storey property, located in Hey Road in the town centre, is a self-contained development of 12,001 sq ft.
Chris Lloyd, associate director in DTZ's North West office agency team, said: "This is a great opportunity for owner occupiers or investors, given the building's central location."
Lloyd added that Knowsley's education office is now surplus to occupational requirements.
The council said staff will move from the building into its Municipal Building on Archway Road in Huyton within the next few weeks.
Offers are invited in the region of £650,000.
