College seeks architect for £5m facility

Blackburn College is planning a new 37,000 sq ft building for teaching science, technology, engineering and maths.
The college is advertising for a design team to carry out feasibility, space planning, conceptual design and advise on integration with existing buildings.
The contract value is put at between £160,000 and £235,000 and will last until the building is completed at the end of March 2013.
Chartered surveyors Pearson Fraser in Bury are advising the college.
The deadline for expressions of interest is 29 April.
