Carefoot on site with Haydock Commercial Vehicles facility
Carefoot has been appointed contractor for a 32,000 sq ft commercial maintenance building at Omega North in Warrington, for Scania dealer Haydock Commercial.
The 3.2 acre site, on Lockheed Road, will host a HGV service centre with vehicle servicing and repair facilities, and MOT bays at ground floor, with associated offices and ancillary facilities spread over three floors.
The external areas will have secure parking for 70 HGV tractor units, with additional space for complete tractor and trailer units.
Carefoot has marked the start of construction with a sod-cutting ceremony.
Speaking at the event, Carefoot’s managing director, Colin Carefoot, said: “Transport and construction is what Carefoot’s are about, we know we can build a flagship facility for Scania here. It’s great to continue our long relationship with Haydock Commercial both as a customer and now as a contractor.”
The scheme is due to be handed over to Haydock Commercial Vehicles early in 2018.
