BAM wins £48m college building contract

Vocational further education institution West Cheshire College has awarded a £48m contract to build two new campuses to BAM Construction.

Salford-based BAM, formerly called HBG Construction, will build extensive teaching facilities in Regent Road, Ellesmere Port and Handbridge, Chester.

The college has been planning its £70m redevelopment programme since 2002 and hopes to see the facilities completed by 2011.
