New town planning head for DTZ
DTZ's Manchester office has recruited Andrew Teage as associate director to head up a new North West town planning team.
Teage joins from BDP where he led the company's Northern town planning studio, with sector focus areas including education, housing, heritage, retail and healthcare.
At DTZ he will provide planning consultancy advice across the North West as well as developing the company's town planning profile and portfolio across the North of England and nationally.
Teage will be joined by a senior planner at the end of March. The planning team grows to 10 strong with the new appointments and includes town planners, John Keyes and Caroline Baker.
Teage has 15 years of experience working in both the public and private sectors. His expertise focuses on preparing, submitting and securing consent for major and complex planning applications and providing associated planning advice, guidance, reports and assessments.
John Keyes, senior director and head of DTZ's Manchester office, said: "This appointment is part of our strategy to grow our town planning consultancy team across the UK. Andrew's experience and skills are an excellent fit to our existing regional strengths."
Teage said: "The DTZ town planning skill has grown in stature and strength over the past few years, securing major blue chip private and public sector clients and becoming increasingly recognised as a key component of DTZ's business growth ambitions."
