New premises for Muir Group
Cheshire housing association Muir Group is merging two offices at a new headquarters in Hoole, near Chester.
It has bought a former NHS Purchasing and Supply Agency office to replace its current headquarters in De Hills Park, Chester and an area office in Helsby.
The 15,500 sq ft site will house around 100 staff who manage an estate of 5,000 properties.
A further 70 staff will continue to work from area offices in Winsford, Blackpool, Burnley and Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire.
Chief Executive John Bellis said: "This is exciting news for Muir Group to start the new year with and it will be great to see our new office taking shape over the coming months.
"With more staff working together under one roof we will be able to offer even more efficient services to residents."
Refurbishment work to the new building will start soon and is expected to be finished by the end of the year.
