New hire at Zerum
Manchester-based Zerum has appointed John Carroll from Aecom as technical director.
With specialist knowledge in mechanical, electrical and public health engineering, Carroll has more than 30 years’ experience working with blue chip consultancy organisations.
Prior to joining Zerum, Carroll managed a multi-disciplinary team at URS Infrastructure & Environment, which became part of Aecom in January 2015.
He is also a qualified university lecturer in the built environment.
North West projects Carroll has worked on include MediaCityUK, Liverpool John Lennon Airport, Liverpool International Business Centre, Merseytravel HQ, RBS’ customer-facing building in Spinningfields, and intu Trafford Centre.
Paul Devine, partner at Zerum, said: “John’s expertise is wide and deep and he’s got fantastic experience working on some really high profile schemes across all sectors. John will be adding excellent experience and drive to our already strong technical capability as we push on with incorporating new technologies for forward looking clients.”
Zerum sounds too much like Serum! Which has all sorts of connotations!
