More bars planned for Inventive Leisure
Inventive Leisure the operator behind the Revolution vodka bars chain, has announced it is to open a further eight venues this financial year, as the company prepares to see its annual profits pass the £10m mark.
Bought by private equity house Alchemy for £42.5 two years ago, the group says its expansion programme, which has already seen six new venues opened this financial year, is boosting its performance as like-for-like sales remain flat.
Overall turnover for the 12 months to the end of June is expected to be almost 25% higher than last year's £57m at £71m, while profits are predicted to increase from £9.5m to around £11m.
Inventive Leisure currently trades from 55 sites and has its headquarters in Ashton under Lyne. It has already earmarked sites in Loughborough and Edinburgh for new openings and has launched Revolution bars in towns and cities including Wigan this year.
