Matthews & Goodman hires from Strutt & Parker

Neil Culkin, formerly head of planning for the North West at Strutt & Parker, has joined Matthews & Goodman's Liverpool office.
Culkin will lead the firm's planning department, working alongside Chris Betteridge. He joined Strutt & Parker's Chester office in 2008 from Wirral Council. He previously worked at Sedgefield and Bradford councils.
M&G acquired rival surveyor Edmund Kirby in April 2011 and employs 26 staff in Liverpool.
The firm said Culkin will develop the firm's planning function, working closely with colleagues in the agency and investment teams, both in the North West region and nationally through the London office.
