Mace & Jones employs Whitton as social housing partner

Law firm Mace & Jones has appointed Sheila Whitton as social housing partner to its real estate department.

Whitton, who joins the firm from Freeth Cartwright, is experienced in handling a broad range of social housing issues such as property development and disposals and complicated regeneration projects.

She will be advising registered social landlords on all aspects of social housing across the region.

Karl Jackson, head of real estate at Mace & Jones, said: "Sheila's considerable experience in this field will further strengthen our offering to the social housing sector. We see Sheila's experience and client base as being compatible with the work we are already engaged upon in the urban regeneration field."
