LSH recruits two
Lambert Smith Hampton has made two hires to its Manchester office, with the appointment of senior surveyor Stuart McGill to property and asset management, and surveyor Joe Johnson to building consultancy.
McGill joined from Lee Baron where he spent the past five years as a chartered surveyor, working with the review and resolution of distressed assets.
At LSH, McGill will be responsible for more than 500,000 sq ft of commercial property for clients including Henderson, Prospect Estates and accountancy firm BDO. Large instructions include the £25m Zenith Building in Manchester and the 200,000 sq ft Kelloggs warehouse in Trafford Park.
Johnson joined from Deloitte Real Estate where he was a building surveyor in the construction advisory practice. He will undertake a range of work, predominantly for commercial and industrial buildings, including building surveys, dilapidations, condition surveys and project management.
Abid Jaffry, director and head of LSH's Manchester office, said: "As the city's commercial property sector enjoys continued growth, we're pleased to be welcoming such talented new members to our building consultancy and property and asset management teams.
"Stuart and Joe bring expertise in relocation, acquisitions and dilapidations, not to mention their combined knowledge of the regional market. We're looking forward to supporting them in their new roles and to the contribution each will make to our ongoing projects in the area."
