LNC clinches second letting at 55 Princess Street

Glaswegian investor LNC Properties has let two floors at 55 Princess Street in central Manchester, formerly branded Aurora, to personal injury solicitors Fentons.

Fentons is taking the fourth and fifth floors, totalling 16,021 sq ft, on a ten-year lease at an undisclosed price.

The company will relocate from Old Trafford to the 57,000 sq ft building, becoming only its second occupier; surveyor Atisreal took the top floor in June 2007. The six-storey building was developed by CTP with LNC's backing and completed in 2006.

Chris Lloyd, associate director at joint letting agent DTZ, said: "We're delighted to have completed the largest deal in the commercial office core this year. It proves that despite the state of the market there will always be room for deals in quality space."

Lloyd added that the ground floor was also under offer, which would leave two floors remaining. Quoting rents are £27.50/sq ft. Joint letting agent with DTZ is King Sturge. Lambert Smith Hampton represented Fentons.
