JLL to co-locate with King Sturge at Piccadilly Gardens
Jones Lang LaSalle has confirmed it will move its Manchester workforce into the same office as the former King Sturge side of the business following the merger in May.
David Lathwood, formerly head of King Sturge in Manchester and now head of Jones Lang LaSalle's Manchester office below, said: ""Our focus has always been to bring both Manchester offices together under one roof as soon as possible. The forthcoming move into One Piccadilly Gardens will provide the environment and infrastructure to assist the ongoing integration and ensure together, as one team, we are able to deliver an excellent range and breadth of services to clients."
Lathwood also said announcements would be made shortly regarding the structure of the combined business. Chris Mulcahy, head of office agency at King Sturge, is expected to be named head of offices across the newly enlarged JLL Manchester operation.
Prior to the merger King Sturge had 100 people in 16,600 sq ft in Argent's One Piccadilly Gardens. JLL had 45 in 7,800 sq ft at Chancery Place. King Sturge has nine years left on its lease at Piccadilly Gardens and JLL eight years at Chancery Place.
The move will take place during September.
