Indurent secures 110,000 sq ft Dealicious Mealz deal

The food wholesaler will relocate to Unit M2 at Heywood Distribution Park to support its expansion of UK operations as it attempts to establish its brand with the country’s supermarkets.

Indurent specialises in developing and leasing industrial logistics space, and the 10-year lease signed by Dealicious Mealz represents another major agreement the developer has sealed in this quarter.

Dealicious Mealz, which specialises in Asian produce, is set to vacate the 27,700 sq ft Unit 4 at Hendlam Vale Industrial Park in Crumpsall to expand its operational floorspace to 110,000 sq ft.

Regency Glass signed in early October to upsize into the £28m 420,000 sq ft Indurent 420 unit at Warrington’s Omega West – the largest single-site lease in the North West this year.

The 110,000 sq ft unit was marketed by B8 Real Estate and DTRE.

Simon Ross, head of portfolio management at Indurent, said: “The UK big box market is regaining momentum after a softer start to the year, and we’re seeing this strong appetite first-hand, securing three major leases in recent weeks.

“The agreements with DPD, Regency Glass, and now Dealicious Mealz, span a diverse range of sectors and reflect the growing need for high-quality space as businesses scale to meet rising demand.

“It’s a clear signal of renewed confidence in the sector, and a testament to the strength of Indurent’s portfolio.”

Dan Austin, head of Logistics North at Indurent, added: “We’re delighted to welcome Dealicious Mealz to Heywood Distribution Park.

“The business was seeking a modern and strategically located facility to support its continued expansion, and Unit M2 offered the ideal solution.

“Their decision to partner with Indurent underscores the quality of our units, many of which have been actively refurbished to meet the evolving needs of modern occupiers, combining sustainability, operational efficiency, and exceptional connectivity.”

Heywood Distribution Park lies off Pilsworth Road to the southwest of Rochdale, sandwiched between Bury New Road to the north and the M62 along its southern boundary.
