Indigo hires senior planner

Indigo Planning has expanded its Manchester office with the appointment of Matthew Hard, who joins from CDN Planning in Swansea as a senior planner.

Hard has 10 years' experience working across a range of projects including retail, leisure, tourism and renewable energy. He has worked closely with local authorities and has been actively involved in development management and site promotion. Hard is a chartered member of the RTPI and has an MSc in urban planning.

Indigo's Manchester office now employs 17 people.

Indigo also announced the appointment of Joanne Oldfield as a planner in the Leeds office. She has seven years' experience in planning and research. She is currently completing a PhD in sustainability and has an MA in Town & Regional Planning.

Nick Pleasant has also been promoted to senior planner in the Leeds office.
