Incspaces takes 11,000 sq ft in Manchester

The company is opening its second site in the city within Kinrise’s Albert Estate.

Incspaces has signed a lease on 10,900 sq ft at 2 Mount Street, part of the historic cluster of Manchester office buildings.

The company also operates an 11,000 sq ft site at 101 Princess Street and is one of a growing cohort of flexible workspace providers in Manchester.

Others include Gilbanks, which recently took space at Aviva’s 11 York Street, and Orega, which has around 115,000 sq ft of live or pipeline space across five locations in the city.

Kinrise, an office investor specialising in historic assets, acquired the Albert Estate in 2015. As well as 2 Mount Street, the 92,000 sq ft cluster includes Northern Assurance Buildings, Victoria Buildings, and 1 Central Street.

Kinrise sold 1 Central Street to MGTS St Johns High Income Property Fund earlier this year.

Among Kinrise’s other assets are Sunlight House and Martins Bank Building, both of which the company acquired in joint venture with investor Karrev.

Liverpool City Council granted Kinrise consent to refurbish the Martins Bank Building into a 140,000 sq ft office scheme in November.
