ID:SR wins Squire Patton Boggs design brief

ID:SR, Sheppard Robson’s interior design group, has been appointed to design law firm Squire Patton Boggs’ new office at No.1 Spinningfields.

Squire Patton Boggs has taken 27,500 sq ft across three floors at Allied London’s 19-storey building in Manchester, currently under construction and due for completion in 2017.

Marie Leyland, head of ID:SR North at Sheppard Robson, said: “Squire Patton Boggs requires world-class facilities to match the pace of the global market and that is why it has committed to space at No. 1 Spinningfields.

“As part of our activity-driven approach we are developing the design through extensive consultation with Squire Patton Boggs’ employees in order to provide a space which can evolve with the needs of the business and be flexible to accommodate all aspects of the practice.”

No.1 Spinningfields is due to reach completion in 2017. Accountants PwC and law firm Browne Jacobson have also committed to the scheme, with 50,000 sq ft and 11,055 sq ft respectively. London-based D&D will operate a restaurant and rooftop terrace, while M&S will operate a foodstore at ground level.

The firm has also this year committed to 39,000 sq ft at MEPC’s Wellington Place in Leeds.
