Hope Capital upsizes in Bootle with 10,000 sq ft HQ

The Liverpool-founded bridging finance firm has signed a 10-year lease on the third floor of Royal London’s Alaska House in Bootle.

Hope Capital Property Finance, which turned 15 this year, has been located at Alaska House since 2018 when it signed for 3,000 sq ft on the ground floor.

At the time, the company employed nine staff. Today, 45 people are on the payroll, necessitating a larger base.

Hope Capital has moved to the third floor within the five-storey office at Atlantic Park.

CBRE advised the Royal London on the deal.

The new office includes an auditorium, meeting spaces, video call booths and social areas including a bar.

Jonathan Sealey, chief executive of Hope Capital Property Finance, said: “We are incredibly proud of how far the business has come. From a small start-up operation to a 45-strong team and a 10,000 sq ft headquarters, this investment reflects our ambition for the future.

“We have deliberately remained in Liverpool throughout our growth. Liverpool is at the heart of who we are, and we are incredibly proud to have grown our business here, creating jobs, attracting talented people and investing in the local community. Our new headquarters is another significant investment in both our people and the area we have called home since 2011.”

The refurbishment was delivered by North West-based construction company Mountain Earth.
