Hemphill joins Select as development director

Allan Hemphill has joined Select Property Group as development director of Affinity Living, the division of Select focused on bringing forward private rented sector schemes.

Hemphill founded Christal Management, and sold it to EC Harris, now Arcadis, in 2014. He worked with the company as Manchester managing partner until December 2016.

Hemphill’s former clients include British Land, Manchester City FC, Ask Developments and BAE Systems.

Talking about his new role, Hemphill said: “I’ve worked with Select previously as a consultant and have always admired the drive, progressiveness and culture of the business. I’m looking forward to expanding an already talented development team and driving the evolution of Affinity Living across its Manchester sites and beyond.”

Select has three property brands in its portfolio, with Vita Student, serviced apartment arm CitySuites and Affinity Living projects on site across the country.
