Halcrow engineer wins national award

Halcrow Yolles's Neil Currie won an engineering ambassador award at the association for consultancy and engineering awards last week.

The awards recognise ACE member company projects and people that demonstrate a high degree of achievement, value and engineering excellence.

Based in Manchester, Currie is a technical manager responsible for the development of innovative engineering solutions within Halcrow Yolles and recently presented at the Imperial College on engineering simplicity.

He received his award from broadcaster Nicky Campbell at the ACE Engineering Excellence dinner at the Victoria Park Plaza Hotel in London.
