GVA appointed by HCA at Royal Mills
The surveyor has been instructed by the Homes & Communities Agency to deliver property management and commercial lettings services at the large inner city estate of six buildings containing 320 flats and 60,000 sq ft of commercial space.
Jacqueline O'Shea, national director in GVA's property management consultancy, said: "Ancoats has benefited from considerable investment in recent years, and the urban village assets we are managing on behalf of the HCA are extremely exciting."
David Thwaites, associate director in office agency at GVA, said: "The quirky office environment within Royal Mills is ideal for the creative sector and those occupiers seeking inspiration from their surroundings. All of the available suites will provide self-contained offices available on flexible terms."
Deborah McLaughlin, executive director for the HCA, commented: "Ancoats has become one of the most exciting and fastest growing areas of Manchester in recent years, and is a key strategic location in the context of HCA and Manchester City Council's 'Manchester Place' initiative.
"HCA is therefore delighted to be working with GVA to formally market its commercial space at Royal Mills at this important time, and we look forward to the prospect of welcoming in a healthy mix of new tenants to Ancoats, who will help to reinforce the area's growing identity as a centre for cultural and creative industries."
