Growing estate agent sets up shop in Manchester

Johns&Co, which manages portfolios comprising schemes from the likes of Renaker and Salboy, has opened an office at 82 King Street.

Manchester is the fourth city the estate agent has opened an office in. The others are London, Hong Kong, and Shanghai.

The company, founded in 2013, cited Manchester’s “dynamic economic growth, robust property market, and flourishing development landscape” as reasons behind the decision to establish a base in the city.

“Our decision to open an office in Manchester is driven by the city’s strong economic performance and the outstanding investment opportunities it offers for residential property investors,” said Jon Johnson, managing director of Johns&Co.

“The early success we’ve achieved here, with over 50 landlords already on board and our activity in several high-profile developments by Salboy, Renaker, and FEC, demonstrates the high demand for our services and the confidence investors have in our ability to deliver exceptional results.”

The Manchester office at 82 King Street, which will be headed up by Andrew Shek, will focus on residential property investment, while also providing sales, lettings, and management services.

The schemes within Johns&Co’s portfolio include FEC’s Gate and Stile, and Select Property Group’s One Port Street.
