Goldsmiths doubles Liverpool ONE store

Goldsmiths has taken over its neighbour – the former GUESS unit at Liverpool ONE’s Paradise Street. As a result, the luxury watch and jewellery retailer has doubled its size in the shopping complex – growing to 13,000 sq ft. The Liverpool ONE store is now Goldsmiths’ largest location in the country.

With two floors to play with, the upsized Liverpool ONE store is also a testbed for Goldsmiths’ new concept: GS Luxury. As such, there is a hospitality bar and lounge area, repair services on offer, and a VIP consultation room. In addition to the main showroom, there is a separate area for Rolex.

Goldsmiths is part of the Watches of Switzerland Group. The revised Liverpool ONE store earned praise from Watches of Switzerland’s president for the UK and Europe, Craig Bolton.

“The new Goldsmiths Liverpool showroom will be a destination for discerning customers seeking exquisite jewellery and timepieces,” Bolton said.

“This expansion is a testament to our dedication to delivering the finest luxury goods and creating memorable experiences for our valued clients.”

Rob Deacon, asset management director at Liverpool ONE owner Grosvenor, said: “Liverpool ONE continues to attract prominent UK retailers, and the recommitment of premium names such as Goldsmiths further establishes the scheme as one of Europe’s leading retail and entertainment destinations.”

Goldsmiths acted for itself on the lease deal, while Metis and CBRE represented Liverpool ONE.

In addition to Goldsmiths, other brands that have continued their commitment to Liverpool ONE include BOSS and Hollister, both of which relocated and upsized earlier this year.

Looked very impressive this morning, and a statement for Liverpool One, some good openings on that corner recently with Black Sheep Coffee, plus Joe and the Juice.
