GMC picks Broadway Malyan to design new HQ

Architectural practice Broadway Malyan has won the contract to design the new offices for the General Medical Council at 3 Hardman Street in Spinningfields, Manchester.

The GMC will occupy 50,000 sq ft at Allied London's development when it relocates from Bruntwood's St James's Buildings on Oxford Road at the end of this year.

The tender for the fit-out job is understood to have attracted more than 100 applicants due to the lack of activity in the market.
