Galliford Try continues residential run
Galliford Try has secured planning approval to deliver 37 affordable homes in Ellesmere Port and Liverpool.
Permission has been granted to deliver a development of 17 units comprising two and three bed houses on a former sea cadet premises in John Street close to Ellesmere Port town centre.
The contractor and house builder has also secured permission to develop out 20 apartments for elderly people at Halewood Road in Gateacre, Liverpool, in conjunction with Plus Dane Housing Group.
Both schemes are scheduled to begin on site at the end of March and will be constructed by Galliford Try Partnerships, the company's affordable housing division.
Galliford Try recently submitted plans to develop a 20-unit affordable housing scheme in Castlefields Runcorn which will begin on site in early summer subject to planning permission.
The architect on John Street in Ellesmere Port is Halsall Lloyd Partnership; on St Greg's in Gateacre, ABW Architects.

Galliford Try Partnerships recently completed a scheme at Statham Avenue, Warrington for Your Housing and is currently on site at Digmoor Road, Skelmersdale delivering 45 houses for Cheshire & District Housing Trust.
