Focus Pharmaceuticals takes 34,000 sq ft in Wigan

CBRE Global Investors has secured a tenant for the final unit of its Hindley Green Business Park.

Focus Pharmaceuticals is set to occupy the 34,283 sq ft unit having agreed a 10-year lease. The unit is now being fitted out by Focus following a comprehensive refurbishment.

Rob Trevor, director of CBRE Global Investors, said: "This was one of our most challenging refurbishments. We took a former engineering unit in very poor condition following the liquidation of the previous tenant and completely transformed it, with the help of ISS and Jones Building Maintenance, into a high quality pharmaceutical warehouse fit to pass the current MHRA standards. It has been a pleasure to work with Focus on this project and the result reflects its vision and confidence in our ability to deliver."

Richard Grethe, finance director of Focus Pharmaceuticals, adds: "CBRE Global Investors has worked very closely with us to produce one of the highest specification pharmaceutical distribution facilities in the country. The site was virtually derelict when we first saw it, but CBRE Global Investors worked closely with us to produce a facility that has surpassed our expectations and will help propel the company to the next level."
