Flight Club announces Liverpool venue

The global social darts concept is set to join the line-up of leisure brands at Liverpool ONE, with its latest 10,000 sq ft venue anticipated to open next autumn.

Flight Club has announced that it will open a new premises at Chavasse Park. This venue is the latest addition to the company’s 20-strong global portfolio, which reimagines the traditional game of darts to allow groups to play together in a bar setting.

The new bar will be the company’s first in Liverpool. Flight Club operates 12 other venues in the UK, with an existing North West site sitting off King Street in Manchester.

With the ability to hold up to 350 guests, Flight Club Liverpool will feature two bars and 14 playing areas across two floors.

Visitors will also have access to two terraces, all set within the brand’s distinctive style celebrating the warmth and nostalgia of traditional British pubs.

Steve Moore, chief executive and founder of Flight Club, said: “As one of the UK’s most exciting cities, we’ve been looking forward to bringing Flight Club to Liverpool for a number of years.

“We’re still finalising the details, but we can’t wait to share more of what we have planned in the coming months.”

Flight Club will join the likes of Junkyard Golf Club, Roxy Ballroom, and the recently launched 100,000 sq ft Gravity MAX flagship at Liverpool ONE.

Rob Deacon, asset management director at Grosvenor, said: “Reaffirming Liverpool ONE’s position as one of the UK’s leading retail and leisure destinations, Flight Club will be a strong new anchor that provides even more reasons to visit or lengthen an existing trip.

“Flight Club’s fast-growing success and solid reputation have led to the brand becoming a household name in the leisure industry and it will feel right at home amongst our leading entertainment offer at Liverpool ONE.”

Metis and Starka acted on behalf of Liverpool ONE. The Leisure Partnership acted for Flight Club.
