Firms launch Manchester Property Forum lunch club
The first in a regular new series of informal get-togethers hosted by property players Indigo Planning, Grant Thornton, Laytons Solicitors and Barclays Commercial will be held at Bem Brazil, Deansgate in November.
The events will be free of charge with a buffet lunch and welcome drink provided. Attendees are encouraged to invite property-related clients and contacts who could benefit from the club.
Bill Davidson, partner and head of the Manchester office of Indigo Planning, said in the first email flyer for the event: "As we all know the property sector has seen huge changes and opportunities for people to meet, do business and network have been limited. Our mission is to run this event throughout the year and to provide you with a very informal gathering of organisations involved in the property market in and around Manchester."
Davidson said he hoped the events would become quarterly and offer people from different parts of the industry a setting in which to meet.
The first event will be held on 19 November from roughly 12 noon to 2pm. Contact Nicola Hughes at Laytons to put your name down. Email: nicola.hughes@laytons.com or call 0161 214 1650. Places may be limited to two people per firm if the event is over subscribed.
