Event: Tour Edge Hill University campus
Liverpool Construction Best Practice Club will host a tour of Edge Hill University campus on Thursday 22 August.
With an investment strategy of £150m over a 15-year period, Edge Hill University has become one of the country's most rapidly growing institutions.
The focus for this event will be how the college, founded in 1885, made the transition to university status and how its 160-acre award-winning campus in Ormskirk has been transformed aesthetically and grown physically to accommodate more than 26,000 students.
The expansion has included numerous faculty and academic buildings, offices, a student hub, upgraded sports buildings, all-weather and natural pitches and more than 1,000 units of en suite student accommodation.
