DB Symmetry starts spec work at Manchester Green
DB Symmetry, funded by Barwood Capital, has commenced the speculative refurbishment of the 30,000 sq ft Building Four, Manchester Green, following a recent letting to project delivery consultancy Worley Parsons at the business park.
The park was acquired in 2013 and DB Symmetry embarked on a phased refurbishment programme across the estate. As a result, Building Five was let to pharmaceutical company Chiesi in September 2014, food manufacturer Ingredion recently committed to the scheme by re-gearing its existing lease on Building Two and Worley Parsons has taken 20,538 sq ft in Building One.
Building Four, which totals 30,371 sq ft will be refurbished to Grade A specification with full access raised floors, a new air-conditioning system and a re-modelled entrance reception area. The refurbishment will complete in August and the quoting rent is currently £17.50/sq ft.
Andrew Dickman, development director, DB Symmetry, said: “It’s great to welcome Worley Parsons as the latest tenant to Manchester Green. The market continues to be very active and this has given us the confidence to speculatively refurbish the final building on the estate.”
JLL and Canning O’Neill are the joint letting agents.
