Cup final campaign promotes town
Economic development organisation Warrington & Co is running an advertising campaign in London to coincide with Warrington Wolves' appearance in the Carnegie Challenge Cup Final at Wembley on 25 August.
Coordinated by Marketing Cheshire, and backed by Warrington Wolves, Warrington Council and businesses in the town, the campaign consists of poster adverts in London Euston station. There will be posters at Warrington Bank Quay Station aimed at Wolves fans travelling down to London.
Peter Crompton, chairman of Warrington & Co, said: "Warrington has long been recognised as one of the UK's premier business locations, and the recent Centre for Cities report again provides confirmation of this. The London advertising campaign is just one of a number of exciting initiatives aimed at ensuring this positive message reaches important investment decision makers based in the capital."
This is going to "reach the important investment decision makers based in the capital"?

Is it just me or could either of those posters be promoting the campaign for a Warrington Gay Pride march?
