Crossfield Exclusive completes stalled Baltic View

The joint venture, made up of Crossfield Developments and Exclusive Investments, has finished construction of the Norfolk Street development and sold all 130 apartments after it bought the site in Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle out of liquidation.

Previously known as Baltic House under its original developer North Point Global, the 11-storey development has been renamed Baltic View under the new ownership. 

The scheme, designed by architect Brock Carmichael, comprises a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments as well as nine office units totalling 12,600 sq ft on the ground and first floors.  

Crossfield Exclusive Developments purchased the site in 2018 after the special purpose vehicle delivering the project was placed into liquidation having made a start on site. 

The previous consent secured by North Point was for 150 student beds as well as commercial units.

Crossfield Exclusive lodged refreshed plans for the development, which were approved by Liverpool City Council, before the firm’s construction arm started on site early last year.

The Baltic View scheme forms part of Crossfield Exclusive Developments and Crossfield Group’s wider investment in the Baltic Triangle. The construction division is on site with a £9.8m affordable housing scheme in partnership with housing association, Torus. 

Crossfield Exclusive has also acquired the former Liver Grease Oil and Chemicals site, with a view to starting construction of a hotel in next year.
