The formerly-stalled Baltic House, bought by Crossfield Exclusive in November last year from collapsed developer North Point Global, is set to complete next summer.
Crossfield’s construction arm Crossfield Construction has topped out at the restarted project, which is set to include 130 apartments along with nine office units totalling 12,600 sq ft on the ground and first floors.
The £12m project, designed by Brock Carmichael, is being delivered by the Crossfield Exclusive joint venture, made up of Crossfield Group and Exclusive Investments.
The JV bought the site last year from the liquidators of North Point Global; work had begun on the site but stalled following NPG’s legal woes. The previous consent, which was partially built out, was for 150 student beds alongside commercial units and communal areas.
The site sits between Norfolk Street and Brick Street, and the redesigned scheme reaches 11 storeys at its highest point.
