CPC recruits Lavery as partner

Chris Lavery has joined the project and cost management consultancy from RPS, where he was director of project management.

As a partner at CPC Project Services, Lavery is utilising his more than 30 years of experience in project management to help grow CPC’s business in the North. This includes increasing work in commercial, healthcare, science, transport, housing, and education sectors.

In addition to his time at RPS, Lavery has worked at Your Housing Group, Northern Powerhouse Partnership, Arcadis, and KBR. He was also managing director for 2020 Liverpool and 2020 Knowsley.

Past projects for Lavery include the bringing the £60m redevelopment of St Helens College’s Estate scheme from initial feasibility to the design and construction phase. He has also helped establish the NHS Local Improvement Finance Trust programme.

Graham Hastie, partner for the Northern branch of CPC, welcomed Lavery to the company.

“We have ambitious plans to grow our presence in North West England,” Hastie said. “Chris’s breadth of experience in both public and private sectors will be invaluable to achieving our goals.”

Regarding his new role, Lavery said: “It’s an exciting time to join CPC, as it goes from strength to strength in the UK. I look forward to being a part of this journey, building new opportunities in the North West, and extending CPC’s reputation for being a trusted advisor and successfully delivering complex and cutting-edge projects.”
