Contractors named on AGMA highways panel

Hanson, Lafarge, Tarmac and Aggregate Industries UK have been picked for a new two-year framework for provision of road surfaces by the Greater Manchester boroughs.
Work will be commissioned on a project-by-project basis by Manchester City Council, procuring on behalf of the Association of Greater Manchester Authorities and other partner organisations.
The value of the framework was not given. The criteria for selecting the winning contractors was weighted 70:20:10 for price: quality: sustainability.
