Contractor signs in Urmston

Zone Partnership, a building and maintenance contractor, has leased 3,500 sq ft at 220 Higher Road in Urmston, Trafford, on a five-year lease.

Ben Fallows of TFC, acting for the private landlord, said: "This letting reflects the continuing demand for small self-contained office buildings in the Trafford area. After extended but abortive negotiations we were quickly able to place the property under offer again and the deal was concluded within a short time, which meant both client and tenant were happy."

Geoff Dowdall of Zone Partnership said: "This move will help support the continued growth of our business and is a further commitment by the group to this area of Manchester. We are a national contractor with a strong Manchester background and look forward to a long and successful stay in our new head office."

TFC acted for the private landlord and the tenant was unrepresented.
