CBRE appointed to Liverpool Innovation Park
CBRE's property and asset management team in the Liverpool office has been instructed by the Homes & Communities Agency to manage the 22-acre, 398,000 sq ft Liverpool Innovation Park on Edge Lane.
The CBRE team already undertakes work on the HCA's 193,000 sq ft Exchange Station office scheme and the 35-acre Kings Waterfront mixed-use development in Liverpool, which includes the Arena & Convention Centre Liverpool.
At Liverpool Innovation Park, CBRE will advise on property and asset management. CBRE will relocate a team of three to work on-site to oversee the operation of the business park which houses 500 people.
Liverpool Innovation Park and Exchange Station are two former North West Development Agency assets that were taken over by the HCA in March following the closure of the Space Northwest, a joint venture between the HCA and Ashtenne Industrial Fund. Hansteen, latterly a joint venture partner in Space Northwest, was the previous property manager on the site.
John Lea, head of North West property management at CBRE, said: "We are very pleased to be continuing our successful relationship with the HCA by securing another high profile Liverpool instruction. Liverpool Innovation Park has built a superb reputation as a vibrant business hub and our team is committed to ensuring the ongoing success and management of the site."
