Canning O’Neill targets media tenants
Manchester commercial office agency Canning O'Neill has launched a new service dedicated to the city's burgeoning media and digital sector.
It said the move was prompted by growth in the sector and the "highly specialised needs" of technology-led occupiers. It will be handled by the firm's existing team.
The firm will also be offering a film and media locations service, IT advice to relocating companies and specialist data centre advice.
Properties on its books to let include 52 Princess Street, the Boardwalk, and the Digital World Centre and Soapworks at Salford Quays.
Mark Canning, director, said: "Companies in this sector have very clear needs in terms of technology, aesthetics and costs and they weren't being served by Manchester's office agents.
"They require greater flexibility because of the nature of the growth curves they hit in their early years, they eat bandwidth and they want funky but functional space that doesn't cost the earth."
He added: "We know where the space is and we know how best to shape negotiations for such businesses to secure maximum value. It's a natural add on to our existing business."
The company has launched a new website showcasing properties and services at www.canningoneillmedia.com.
