Brabners names new residential development partner

Commercial law firm Brabners has announced the promotion of real estate lawyer Leanne Murray to partner and head of the residential development team.

Murray advises on residential development acquisitions and disposals with particular expertise in dealing with development constraints.

Mark Brandwood, Brabners’ managing partner, said: “Leanne has shown herself to be an excellent lawyer, who is well regarded by clients and colleagues alike. Our real estate practice is going from strength to strength and residential development is an area we are continuing to invest in.”

Murray said: “I am delighted to become a partner at Brabners and look forward to playing my part in the ongoing growth and success of the firm and in particular the residential development team.”

Murray joined Brabners in 2014. She previously stood as legal director for a large construction and property development company based in South Wales. Prior to that Leanne was a senior associate in the real estate team of a leading firm of solicitors in Cardiff.
