Brabners builds up property team
The Manchester office of law firm Brabners has added two partners to its real estate department, in Krista Powell and Helena Davies.
The appointments follow the arrival of head of real estate Paul Firth earlier this year. Brabners’ real estate team now encompasses more than 100 people repfesenting a client roster including Peel L&P, Riverside Group and McColl’s.
Powell, who originally trained at Brabners, specialises in non-contentious commercial property law and rejoins the firm from Fieldfisher, having also worked at firms including Gateley and Addleshaw Goddard.
Davies, who has extensive experience in real estate litigation, joins from DWF. Her new role will see her develop and grow the real estate litigation team for Brabners. Previous positions include time at Allen & Overy and Cobbetts.
Nik White, managing partner of Brabners, said: “Our ambition to strengthen and grow the firm continues to gather pace. Building our presence in Manchester, investing in our real estate proposition, and strengthening our sector-based, solutions-focused approach remain key drivers in our growth plan.”
