BID manager job advertised in Liverpool
Liverpool City Council is recruiting for a new Business Improvement District manager to oversee all operations of the BID Company.
The service, partly funded by a levy on business rates paid by occupiers, has around 650 businesses in the city registered to its service, which aims to improve and manage cleaning, security, signage and marketing.
Bold Street, Lord Street, Church Street, Whitechapel, Clayton Square are all covered by the Liverpool City Central BID.
Rita Waters held the £50,000-a-year post for 18 months before she moved to Chester Renaissance.
In order for the BID Company to continue delivering its business plan until 2013, Ged Gibbons was seconded from St Helens and will hold the position as BID manager until a replacement is found.
