Barton Willmore hires two senior planners
The planning and design consultancy has added to its North West team based in Manchester, recruiting from Jones Lang LaSalle and DPP.
Suzanne Asher joined from Jones Lang LaSalle as senior planner. She previously worked at the Co-operative Group. At Barton Willmore she will work across various sectors including housing, hotel and retail, waste-to-energy, and strategic residential land interventions for green belt sites.
Lorraine Davison joined from rival Manchester practice DPP, also as senior planner. She spent five years at DPP, working in Glasgow and Manchester on a range of commercial, residential and retail projects, as well as specialist work in the oil and gas sectors.
Dan Mitchell, partner and head of Barton Willmore's now eight-strong Manchester office, said: "The region continues to present a lot of opportunities for growth despite the national economic picture, and it's great to be working with both major property players and individual landowners to help realise that potential."
Barton Willmore's clients in the North West include the Property Alliance Group, Grosvenor, Bellway Homes, Story Homes and Elan Homes.
