Avanta picks up Eastern Green’s Piccadilly block

Eastern Green Developments has sold the so-called Turquoise Block at 56-58 Dale Street and 3 China Lane in Manchester's Piccadilly area to serviced office operator Avanta for nearly £4m.
The 42,250 sq ft, Grade II-listed building is one of six fronting Piccadilly, Newton Street and Dale Street owned by Eastern Green. The developer is currently on site remodelling two of the buildings for residential apartments.
Avanta is now developing plans to redevelop the Turquoise Block to provide high quality office accommodation, complementary to the residential redevelopment currently underway.
