Arley offers 100% mortgages on NW homes
Warrington-based premium housebuilder Arley Homes says it has agreed a deal with an undisclosed lender to offer 100% mortgages on selected properties.
The lending offer applies on an unspecified number of plots at Churchfields in Harwood near Bolton, St George's Park in Mossley and Arley's latest development, Chanters Green in Atherton, which is due to be launched later this year.
John Cosgrave, managing director of Arley Homes, said: "We pride ourselves on building beautiful family homes in great locations and have been pleased to see continued viewings and sales across our portfolio of developments.
"We focus heavily on the quality of the build and finish of each of our properties and I take great satisfaction in exceeding the expectations of our buyers. I'd like everyone to live in an Arley Home but the recent contraction in bank lending has made making the move more difficult for anyone requiring high loan to value funding, not just first time buyers.
"I am therefore delighted that our lending partner has chosen to put this particular mortgage offer in place on selected Arley Homes properties. For many people access to funds has been a serious problem so any sensible initiative to get the market moving has to be welcomed."
