The £8bn national framework will run for four years from 1 November this year when the existing deal expires.
Of the 87 firms selected, 35 have been reappointed. Procure claims the framwork is the largest ever in the UK.
The framework is split into nine sub-regional lots covering five value bands starting at £50,000 and going up to £50M+.
Public sector bodies will be able to select contractors from the framework for more than 150 projects annually. Whereas the first version of the framework only offered construction services, the latest one will also provide specialists in decarbonisation and retrofit, demolition and site preparation, and infrastructure.
Robbie Blackhurst, framework director at Procure Partnerships, said the growth of the framework is a response to the evolving needs of the industry.
“The new iteration of the framework is set to transform public procurement and we look forward to seeing what our contractor partners achieve over the next four years,” he said.
“With over £1bn projects delivered across the UK year on year, our national presence – as well as our extensive experience in both procurement and technical project delivery – means we can always move quickly to meet the needs of our clients.”
