- CLLR HANS MUNDRY, WARRINGTON COUNCIL | Hans is one of Warrington Borough Council’s longest-serving members. He was first elected in 1995, representing Westy, which was subsequently changed to the ward of Latchford East. Leader of the council since 2023, Hans is now focused on delivering a balanced budget & protecting essential services during a challenging time, while ensuring Warrington maximises the transformational opportunities of devolution.
- CLLR KAREN SHORE, CHESHIRE WEST & CHESTER COUNCIL | Karen Shore has been deputy leader of Cheshire West & Chester Council for six years. Karen was first elected to Cheshire West and Chester Council to serve the Whitby Ward in 2015. A year later, she became the Cabinet member for environment, which included highways. Following boundary changes in 2019, she was elected to serve the Central & Grange Ward and was named deputy leader and cabinet member for environment, transport & highways.
- CLLR MICHAEL GORMAN, CHESHIRE EAST COUNCIL | Michael was elected as the Deputy Leader of the Council in February 2024 and became Leader of the Independent Group which, together with the Labour Group, is currently in joint overall control of the Council. Michael is a member of the strategic planning board and also chairs the economy & growth committee. He continues as a trustee of the Cheshire pension fund and is also a director of Alderley Park.
- GEMMA DAVIES, CHESHIRE WEST & CHESTER COUNCIL | Gemma has worked in local government for 21 years, after graduating with an economics degree from Lancaster University. She has worked in various roles for Chester, Shropshire & Cheshire West & Chester Councils. She has responsibility for housing, planning, economic growth and capital delivery and is a member of the institute of economic development. her recent work also involves supporting Cheshire & Warrington’s devolution ambitions working with colleagues across the sub-region.
- DAVID MATHEWS, AMBITION NORTH WALES | David joined Ambition North Wales in April 2020 after working for Denbighshire County Council as the authorities commercial development manager & valuation & estates manager. His previous employment includes Conwy County Borough Council, Chesterton’s, the Welsh Development Agency, Development Board for Rural Wales & a period as a self-employed consultant. He trained in the Civil Service & is a chartered surveyor.
- SIONED EDWARDS, CADNANT PLANNING | Sioned has represented a range of clients in the residential, tourism, leisure & commercial sectors across North Wales & Cheshire including developments of national significance & key economic projects in the region. Owing to her upbringing in rural mid Wales before relocating to Conwy, Sioned has a keen interest in rural & agricultural based developments & has also developed a specialism in developments & the Welsh language.
- PHIL COLLINGS, BARRATT REDROW & MADE PARTNERSHIP| Phil is a development director at Barratt Redrow and leads the land and development team at MADE Partnership, the master developer joint venture formed between Barratt Redrow, Homes England & the Lloyds Banking Group that was set up to support councils & landowners to deliver large-scale developments. Prior to joining Barratt Redrow in 2022, Phil spent 10 years at Homes England where he worked on some of the country’s largest development & regeneration projects.
- ANNETTE MCDONALD, TATTON GROUP | Annette plays a pivotal role in shaping sustainable development across Cheshire, combining deep expertise in environmental policy, strategic land management & stakeholder engagement. Annette leads on major initiatives including Bluebell Village, Tatton Services & key infrastructure projects such as HS2 & Northern Powerhouse Rail. She is impact-driven, passionate about collaboration & firmly believes in designing places that promote health, wellbeing, sustainable transport & connected communities.
- JOE BROADLEY, IGLOO REGENERATION | Joe leads the delivery of projects in the North whilst also seeking new opportunities to expand the igloo Footprint methodology. Joe joined igloo early in 2023 and comes to the business with over 20 years’ experience in development and regeneration, having most recently spent 12 years reaching head of development at Bruntwood and focusing on the joint-venture projects that aimed to revitalise town centres across Greater Manchester.
- SIMON RODDAM, OBI PROPERTY | Simon has over 20-years’ experience in the Northwest property market, specializing in commercial property transactions. Simon plays a key role in advising clients on office acquisitions & disposals, particularly in the Northwest region of England. His work often involves high-profile deals, such as office space lettings & property market repositioning projects. His expertise in market trends & local property demand makes him a notable expert in his field, especially in Warrington & the wider Northwest property market.
- RHYS PARRY, WELSH GOVERNMENT | Rhys proactively builds relationships & engages with international investors in promoting Wales as an attractive Capital Investment destination. Rhys is passionate about promoting Wales & developing the necessary relationships to drive forward Wales’s plans for Capital Projects.
- EMILY ARMSTRONG, FI REAL ESTATE MANAGEMENT | Emily Armstrong is a senior development manager at FI Real Estate Management, one of the UK's most established names in commercial property & asset management, with a nationwide portfolio that now exceeds 14m sq ft. The firm has a number of schemes in development in North Wales, including Wrexham 1M, a one million sq ft facility based in the UK's second largest industrial park, Wrexham Industrial Estate.
