Zuto increases Manchester presence

The car finance credit broker has taken an additional 5,100 sq ft at Abrdn’s Acresfield in St Ann’s Square.

Zuto’s expansion in Manchester sees it increase its footprint within the seven-storey building to 24,100 sq ft.

Founded in 2006, Zuto was previously known as Car Loan 4 U. The company first moved into Acresfield in 2015.

Other occupiers within the building include San Carlo and U.P Fitness.

Savills acted for Abrdn and OBI acted for Zuto.

OBI recently led the refurbishment of Acresfield, which featured the addition of new shower, changing and bike facilities and upgraded communal spaces.

“Zuto’s commitment to Acresfield is testament to the quality of workspace within the building, which is well suited for growing businesses,” said Daniel Barnes, director at Savills.

“The investment into the scheme to provide desirable amenities, coupled with the scheme’s excellent location, makes Acresfield an attractive option for occupiers.”

Richard Lace, director at OBI, added: “Having originally acquired space in Acresfield for Zuto in 2015, the building has supported the business as it has grown and expanded its presence in the city centre.

“It was encouraging to see our recommitment to the building matched by the landlord, who has improved the quality and variety of amenities on offer.”
