Former NatWest site on market
DTZ has been appointed by the Royal Bank of Scotland to sell the freehold of the former NatWest bank premises in Grimshaw Street, Burnley with an asking price of £300,000.
The premises total 6,356 sq ft over basement, ground, first and second floors. The building is situated within Burnley town centre and was built from local stone and boasts character features such as a slate mansard roof, iron and ornate stonework above the entrance door and over the gable windows.
The property is suitable for a variety of uses subject to obtaining relevant planning permissions.
Daniel Barnes, office agent at DTZ, said: "Buildings of this nature rarely become available and we are sure it will attract a lot of interest from property speculators, developers and owner occupiers. Its situation within the town centre means it will be of interest to occupiers from the office, leisure and retail sectors."
